The Medical Technologies Launchpad is a mix of competitively won Research and Development funding and tailored business advice and guidance. Its aim is to enhance the recognition of the cluster, in this case Wales, and drive economic growth through innovation.
Wales has over 300 life science businesses.
Over 250 of those businesses are located in South East Wales.
60% of the life science companies in Wales are in the med tech sector.
